Automatic-driven Transportsystems for the Transportation of the Super-conducting Magnets (BOOGIES)

For the transportation of various super-conducting magnets for the LHC accelerator ring at the international research center Cern (Geneva), BNN supplied Boogies, which are transport vehicles controlled by an optical track guiding system.

The transportation units could be built from 1 up to 4 boogies and 1 control vehicle that could be at any place of  a convoy.

The boogies transport different magnets in the injection tunnel and is able to position the magnets between the magnet support jacks while driving cross the tunnel centerline
